General Applications

The ASM-2490LP and SDT-2490LPC Low Profile Soundmasker is designed for quick and easy installation into cavities as shallow as 1-3/4". The unique dual-driver design provides large amounts of balanced, upward/downward and horizontal soundmasking distribution. No ceiling or floor penetrations are required and soundmasking distribution within the cavities meets ASTM requirements for spatial uniformity when installed according to manufacturer's recommendations. Accessories are available to either suspend the ASM-2490LP/LPC above a ceiling, anchor to the raised floor pedestal, or rest on the ceiling grid. It is a versatile device that can be used for either commercial soundmasking or security applications. The ASM-2490LP and SDT-2490LPC is effective in securing shallow cavities above and below a secure environment when DIAM and DCID requirements for SCIF need to be met.
