The American Sound Masking "In the Wall" Soundmasker is used to safeguard sensitive conversations against human and electronic eavesdropping by filling the wall cavity with full bandwidth soundmasking. It protects against listening devices within the wall, listening devices outside the wall or attached to the wall surface, and persons listening at or near the wall. When controlled by ASM security generators and amplifiers, it also protects against sophisticated signal recovery techniques designed to capture conversations buried within the soundmasking signal. The ASM-2430 is critical to the securing of a wall when DIAM and DCID requirements for SCIF need to be met.
